This site was the second of a prototypical restaurant concept. It complimented the “kit” of elements set up in the Clarksville location allowing for the development of a company image and aesthetic. The design capitalized on abundant natural light, while color coves adjacent to windows add reflective interest both inside and out while ridding the space of “night glass black holes.” Lighting elements create an exterior beacon while providing interior rhythm, human scale, and significant warmth. Hidden colored light coves provide flexible moods with minimal cost. Theatrical gels on separately switched, adjacent tubes create color variations that vary within the week
